Multi-instrumentalist and online content creator Anthony Vincent‘s covers of “Jump Around,” “W.A.P.”, and “Break Stuff” have certainly gotten some love from Metal Injection. But one would imagine that love from the very own Sir Brian May himself – astrophysicist and lead guitarist of Queen, of course – feels probably second to none.
Anthony Vincent posted to Instagram (and his other respective channels) a full-length cover of System Of A Down‘s “Chop Suey” in the style of Queen. And it went down pretty well with Sir Brian May, with him commenting on the video that, “This is a truly fine piece of work — sincere respects to you, Anthony. What a talent ! Magnificent singing in all your posts, but this one takes the lid off !!! Bri”
This switch-up in style comes after Anthony Vincent released his most recent LP, a collection of covers in the style of Slipknot, earlier this month. Including the aforementioned covers (“Jump Around,” etc.), the release also featured covers of hit pop songs like NSYNC‘s “Bye Bye Bye,” Flo Rida‘s “Low,” and Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz‘s “Get Low.”
