With the news of Ozzy Osbourne’s death reverberating around the world, tributes are pouring in from near and far — and also some of the most unexpected places.
For example, Major League Baseball took to social media to honor the fallen heavy metal legend by sharing his infamous 2003 performance of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at Chicago’s Wrigley Field during the seventh inning stretch.
Ozzy and his wife Sharon, both clad in Chicago Cubs jerseys, celebrated the time-honored tradition from the WGN broadcast booth, with Ozzy working up the crowd with calls of “Are you ready?!”

The Black Sabbath frontman did his best to lead the singalong, even though it was readily apparent that he was mostly clueless about the lyrics to the song. Both fans and players alike appeared amused and confused at what was happening in the booth, with Ozzy pulling it together to nail the last line of the tune.
